Cafe Campestre

We grow most ingredients ourselves, or source locally: in season and where possible organically. But we havent stopped there! We have also built our own wood-fired clay oven bakery and make all our own fresh breads and pizzas. We also make our own pastas fresh on site and toast our locally-sourced organic coffee traditionally in a clay "comal", over an open wood fire right here on the premises.

We are so pleased with our kitchen workshop that we have it open to the public for all to see. Please stop by and take a look or sit at the bar and watch as our team prepare the days bread's, pastas and other produce for our menu.

Chef Ben has appeared in both 'Food and Wine' magazine and 'Travel Weekly' among other publications featuring his cooking at Café Campestre. His particular passions are authentic curries from India and Asia where he studied during his travels and for organic salads grown on the farm. International cuisine as well as local dishes can be found on the menu and all include generous helpings of organic herbs, spices, local vegetables and salads from the farm and locally rasied livestock.
